From the moment we left Kings Island in 2021, I was angling for a return. The fact that they were celebrating 50 years only added to my desire to return. And so here we are at the end of July 2022, taking a red-eye from LA to Cincinnati just for Kings Island. No regrets, this was a great weekend. We rode so many coasters on repeat and caught up on our Kings Island history. I feel a kinship to this park because it reminds me so much of what Magic Mountain was, and what it could have been. Kings Island, we love you. Please keep on doing what you do. See you again soon. Enjoy!
This was my 2022 Tiki Oasis
1000 puzzle pieces of Tiki tOny art. Challenging but a lot of fun. Well-made puzzle also. This is not how I pictured Tiki Oasis 2022, but here we are.
Kings Island has been nice to us this weekend.

Vignettes from Disneyland's 67th Anniversary
We headed to the Disneyland resort for the weekend of July 16-17, 2022 so we could celebrate the 67th anniversary of Disneyland. We rode some opening day attractions like the Jungle Cruise and the Mark Twain Steamboat, and enjoyed more "recent" favorites such as the Matterhorn and Pirates of the Caribbean. Then we had lunch and got out as the crowds descended. Please enjoy this collection of vignettes from Disneyland's 67th Anniversary!
