Nanocoaster version of SheiKra, a B&M Dive Coaster located at Busch Gardens Tampa. I loved this ride. It’s the first dive coaster I’d been on and it lived up to my expectations. It’s a short ride, but it doesn’t need to be that long. It’s all about that 90 degree first drop. Photos and video from December 2018.
Nanocoasters Volume #1 - Mako
I recently discovered that SeaWorld sells stainless steel, small scale replicate rollercoasters called “nano coasters”. Yes please. Tiny home versions of my favorite roller coasters? I’m all in. Luckily SeaWorld sells theirs online so I can grab a few favorites (all of them). There are also some for Six Flags Magic Mountain, which I would buy all of, but they only sell them in the parks. Boo. Also: hiss.
For now, please enjoy the first of the 5 I bought: Mako. Mako is a B&M hyper coaster located at SeaWorld Orlando. I know I’m getting up there in “coaster years” but this was the first ride in forever that had me wondering what would happen if I got ejected from the train on one of the airtime hills.
Good times.
Photos of empty theme parks →
These are awesome photos of empty theme parks. It doesn’t take a global pandemic to photograph an empty theme park from above, but nonetheless, enjoy.
Day 58
I can't remember how this got started
Oh, but I can tell you exactly how it will end
“I believe I can see the future
’Cause I repeat the same routine
I think I used to have a purpose
But then again, that might have been a dream”
The Line Begins To Blur
“The more I stay in here
The more it’s not so clear
The more I stay in here
The more I disappear”
