It’s not a high-end system by far, but it works as advertised and is a fine addition to the spare room. I’m sure it’ll spin exotica just as nicely when the sun goes down.
Post-race pool Mai-Tai
To go with some pool (recovery) time following the Wine & Dine 10k, I ordered the Mai-Tai from the Dolphin pool bar. While the balance was off, it had the right roots. Fresh lime juice, orgeat, curaçao, and Trader Vic’s dark rum. Wouldn’t be my rum choice, but it’s at least consistent with what corporate Vic’s sells. I’ve had worse cocktails sold under the “Mai-Tai” banner.
2019 Disney Wine & Dine 5k: done
No drenching thunderstorms, even. This one was done on about 2.5 hours of sleep due to attending the Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom the night before. The 5k was promptly followed by a 3 hour “nap”.
